Roger Ver is anything but friendly to Bitcoin Core and especially Blockstream; the company co-founded by Adam Back, Gregory Maxwell, Austin Hill, and others, where many Core devs work.
Being a fierce opponent of Segwit and a dedicated supporter of Bitcoin Unlimited, Ver is adamant that for Bitcoin to scale fast on-scale, a generous increase in the current bitcoin block limit is needed.
In his thinking, such an increase would lower the fees users have to pay when transacting bitcoins. Having failed to push his agenda, though, Roger Ver sees Blockstream, who opposed Bitcoin Unlimited, as an enemy. Thus, he has no kind words for Blockstream supporters.
For instance, in a caustic tweet posted yesterday Ver shares a picture of a Blockstream supporter gathering (shared on Facebook by Blockstream's Samson Mow) commenting:
It seems that when Blockstream supporters have a meetup at a place that accepts Bitcoin, they all use fiat because Bitcoin fees are too high
