Andreas Antonopoulos is a Greek-British California-based information security expert, technologist, tech-entrepreneur and author who has become one of the most well-known and well-respected figures in bitcoin. He is a host on the Let's Talk Bitcoin podcast and a Digital Currencies teaching fellow at the University of Nicosia.
In January 2014, Antonopoulos joined Blockchain.info as Chief Security Officer. In September 2014 he became an advisor to the board.
He also served as head of the Bitcoin Foundation's anti-poverty committee until 2014, resigning due to disagreements with its management.
Antonopoulos is the author of 2 cryptocurrency-related books:

- Mastering Ethereum; A technical guide for developers, about "how Ethereum works and how to write smart contracts and dApps".
